You got to move . . .

We saw Ray Wylie Hubbard in concert recently (awesome), and he covered that song. It's on an old Rolling Stones album, too, look it up on youtube. We titled today's post "You got to move," because there isn't room for any more STUFF in our yard. Last week the brick was delivered. Earlier this week, the stone. This morning, they brought three pallets of mortar and a truckload of drywall. Here is some of the stone that will be on the entry:

Oh, and the insulation guys were there this morning. They arrived at 7:30 am, when I did, and by 12:30 pm, all the walls were insulated. They haven't done the blow-in stuff in the attic yet.
Here is the drywall delivery, see how he wedged the truck in next to the stone and in front of the dumpster. He did it on the first try, too. I would have been sawing away for hours trying to get into position. Bless those guys, they carried the drywall, sheet by sheet, into the house instead of dumping it in the mud outside.

And below is one of the pallets of mortar. Mortar Man had to ask the drywall guys to move their perfectly placed truck, so he could deliver the mortar. Hey, that could be a new mob super hero, Mortar Man! "I'll cement you up and you'll sleep with the fishes!"

At 12:30, I went over with my friend (Rag!) and they were busily mixing mortar, brick laying, stone laying and insulating. By tonight we won't recognize the place.
